50 Greatest Players in UConn men’s basketball history: 50-1

JEFF ADRIEN38. Jeff Adrien (2005-09) 6-7, F. Adrien was an overachieving bruiser and rebounding machine who helped lead the Huskies to a 31-4 record and a Final Four appearance in 2009.

He averaged 13.6 points and 9.9 rebounds that season. His 1,126 career rebounds are fourth-best in school history. Adrien also put up a career-high 14.8 points per game in 2008. He will be remembered as a tough, gritty glue guy in an era full of stars. Adrien played with Rudy Gay, A.J. Price, Hasheem Thabeet, and Kemba Walker. But like Kevin Ollie, Adrien made the most of his four years at Connecticut, and spent time in the NBA from 2010-12.
