0809-Thabeet-34427. Hasheem Thabeet (2006-09) 7-3, C. Thabeet was a shot-blocking virtuoso at Connecticut, finishing with 417 blocked shots and trailing only the legendary Emeka Okafor in UConn history.

Thabeet was a tremendous presence in the paint, and helped guide the Huskies to the 2009 Final Four. He averaged 13.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 4.8 blocks in his senior season, and was selected with the No. 2 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.

Despite being a terrible shooter, Thabeet holds the UConn record for field goal percentage (61.1%).
