Sheffer_Doron26. Doron Sheffer, (1993-96) G . The Israeli-born guard was an underrated member of the mid-nineties UConn teams that made three straight appearances in the Sweet 16 and reached the Elite Eight in 1995.

Sheffer remains one of the more underrated players in UConn history. Other players are remembered for having a greater impact on the program, but Sheffer ranks second in Huskies history in both steals per game (1.9) and assists per game (5.5).

He finished his career with 559 assists and 194 steals. He was drafted by the L.A. Clippers following graduation, but opted to play in his home country instead.
