50 Greatest Players in UConn men’s basketball history: 50-1

Quimby_Art act22. Art Quimby (1951-55) 6-5, C. Quimby was a prodigious rebounder at Connecticut. The 6-5 center is the school’s all-time leader in career rebounds (1,716), and rebounding average (a ridiculous 21.5 per game). No one is likely to surpass those numbers, as Quimby leads by 4 rebounds per game and 400 total rebounds over Toby Kimball.

Though both played in an era where more shots were taken and the games were often played at a faster pace, those numbers are incredibly impressive.
