Moore took ferocious pride in his defense, and often shut down the best player on the opposing team. He also knew how to run a team, finishing his UConn career with 510 assists, which ties him with Marcus Williams for sixth all-time.

But Moore’s impact on the Huskies was his shut-down ‘D,’ and without it, Connecticut never reaches the title game in ’99. (Source: UConn Athletics) Photo courtesy: UConn Athletics
