50 Greatest Players in UConn men’s basketball history: 50-1

Burrell_Scott14. Scott Burrell (1989-93) 6-7, F. The sweet-stroking Hamden native put up 1,526 points in his UConn career (13.1 ppg), and finished as the only player in NCAA Division I history to rack up at least 1,500 points, 750 rebounds, 275 assists, and 300 steals.

His 310 steals are the most in Huskies history, and he actually left UConn ranking 2nd in blocked shots per game.

If that weren’t enough, Burrell also spent two seasons in the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league system and is remembered as one of the best three-point shooters in UConn history.
