Geno gives back in his annual “Fore the Kids” Charity Golf Tournament

UConn women’s basketball head coach Geno Auriemma made headlines again, not for his coaching on the floor at Gampel Pavilion, but rather for his dedication to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center on the golf course.

Geno’s “Fore the Kids” Charity Golf Tournament took place at the prestigious Hartford Golf CLub on Monday, where supporters were treated to 18 holes of golf.

Over $100,000 was raised from the event and all proceeds go directly to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
