Connecticut now has a professional lacrosse team.
The team formerly known as the Philadelphia Wings is moving to the state and will play its home games at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
In fact, the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority bought half the team as part of the deal.
The team will play in the National Lacrosse league which plays all indoor games as opposed to Major League Lacrosse which plays outdoor games.
The NLL is a nine-team league.
