Torrington football beats Crosby, 75-57, in one of highest-scoring games ever

Torrington 75, Crosby 57

In Waterbury, Torrington defeated Crosby in the highest scoring football game I’ve ever seen. It was already 38-27 in the second quarter when Torrington added to its lead.

Newton Friaz with a 15 yard run, and it’s 45-27. That ends the first half, but Crosby comes alive in the 3rd quarter.

Christopher Matthews a 35 yard touchdown run, and the score tightens to 45-33.

*But back comes Torrington. Newton Riaz with another touchdown run.

Torrington wins, 75-57.
