(WTNH)–It wasn’t a great year for seniors on the UConn football team, but several players may have jobs waiting for them in the NFL.
Twenty-nine NFL teams were in Storrs for the Huskies’ Pro Day on Tuesday. Senior Deshon Foxx was trying his best to impress NFL teams. Foxx started all 12 games at wide receiver for the Huskies last season.

He also played a little quarterback and was a solid return specialist. Foxx has lots to work on but working out in front of NFL Scouts was pretty special.
“It’s amazing. It’s like your childhood dream coming true,” Foxx said. “You’re just out here having fun, playing football in front of them. It was a great experience.”
What does Foxx need to work on to get his game NFL-ready?
“I definitely know that I need to train, I need to get my routes crisp, I need to work on my 40, my speed,” he said. “I felt comfortable today, I felt loose, I felt in sync with the quarterback. I was happy with my performance.”
Foxx led the UConn offense with the longest run, catch and punt return of the season.
