UConn soccer holds spring game, youth clinic

(WTNH)–There’s plenty of spring football being played by the local colleges, but there’s also some spring college soccer to tell you about on this Friday.

Ray Reid’s UConn Huskies played a spring game against St. John’s in New Britian tonight. We’ve got the highlights above.

And how cool is this?

Before the game tonight the Huskies held a clinic for young players in the area. It was a chance to get up close and personal with some of the country’s top college players. This is one of four youth clinics the team has on the schedule this spring.

Kids of all ages and skill levels welcome to attend and as you can see everyone had fun including the UConn players and coaches.

And the Huskies have two more clinics on the schedule.

One in Granby and one in Wallingford.
