(WTNH)–Top-50 ESPN recruit Tevin Mack has been granted a release from his letter of intent with VCU, according to multiple media outlets.
Mack, a 6-foot-7 small forward from Drerer High School in South Carolina, chose the Rams over UConn, South Carolina and Georgia, among others. He is the No. 47-ranked player in the Class of 2015.
Mack left VCU after head coach Shaka Smart decided to take the job at Texas. According to ESPN.com, he may follow Smart to Austin.
