(WTNH)–UConn fans have heard a lot about next year’s top recruit, Roxbury, Mass. point guard Jalen Adams.

After a year in which the Huskies struggled to score and watched as Ryan Boatright couldn’t quite live up to Shabazz Napier’s lofty standards, Huskies fans are eager to see what Adams’ game looks like, and if he’ll remind anyone of his fellow Roxburian (Napier is also a native).

Adams has already been invited to a number of national high school All-Star games, and played in the regional version of the Jordan Classic in Brooklyn last month.

And if this next clip is any indication of what the 6-2 guard is bringing to Storrs, well…it’s going to be a fun year.

As TheUConnBlog put it, Jalen summed up the Huskies’ relationship with Kentucky in this one, 7-second clip. (That is a pretty awesome way to think about it).

He’s in the black and white camouflage, and Kentucky recruit Isaiah Briscoe, ranked the No. 1 shooting guard in the country, is in the orange. Check it out:

As the kids say, that’s fire.

Also newsworthy from that night is the fact that Adams donned these specialty-made Jordans just for the game:

Pretty sweet.
