(WTNH)–At 7-1, the Connecticut Sun are off to one of the best starts in franchise history, and not a lot of people oustide of Uncasville saw this coming.
“I think we genuinely like to play with each other, and we’re working hard and trying to improve every day in practice,” said Sun guard Chelsea Gray.
“We’re really focusing hard on our defense, and trying to do the best we can on that end of the court.”
“We have just, tremendous chemistry, and that goes a long way in the women’s game,” head coach Anne Donovan said. “For us, it’s carried us in this early stage and I think it caught everybody somewhat surprised.”
“We’ve been playing very confident,” said guard Jasmine Thomas.
The Sun will host the Indiana Fever tonight (Tuesday) at 7 p.m.
