(WTNH)–The Fairfield men’s basketball team announced the addition of five players to its roster today, including one player who won’t be far from home.
Former Fairfield Prep star Thomas Nolan will be playing for the Stags next season.
Nolan helped the Jesuits capture their first state championship since 1997 this year, with a 25-2 record. The 6-3, 180-pound guard was also a First Team All-State selection this season.
He won the SCC Tournament’s MVP in 2014.
“Tom is a fierce competitor with a well-rounded skill set,” Fairfield head coach Sydney Johnson said. “He was a standout player with a relentless approach to the game under the tutelage of Fairfield Prep coach Leo Redgate. We are pleased to welcome Tom, his mother Rita, his father Dan and older brothers Ryan and Eamonn to our University and program.”
