How can you watch Ryan Boatright in the NBA Summer League?

(WTNH)–If you’re like most UConn fans, you don’t just watch the Huskies from November to March (or sometimes, April). Nah. That’s not enough basketball.

Instead, you follow recruiting, you keep an eye on the UConn guys in the NBA, and track the Huskies just trying to crack NBA rosters, like Ryan Boatright. (Of course, you check SportzEdge.com religiously for updates on it all, but that goes without saying).

Boatright signed with the Brooklyn Nets over the weekend, and on Monday, the team added him to its 19-man NBA Summer League roster.

Summer League will be a big deal for the 5-10 guard, who will be looking to overcome major odds to make the Nets once the regular season rolls around.

One piece of good news for Boatright is that the Nets are among a handful of teams who will be competing in both the Orlando and Las Vegas summer leagues, which means he’ll get more run and a better chance to showcase his skills, not only to the Nets, but to teams around the league.

And the good news for you is that you can watch him– as most summer league games will be televised on NBA TV.
