INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — If you down a Sun King Wee Mac in the near future, you may want to take a closer look at the bottom of the can.

Thousands of cans were printed with “Tom Brady Sux” on the bottom.

The phrase is stamped next to the expiration date, which is rapidly approaching.

But Sun King says the jab wasn’t on purpose.

A Sun King employee, whose nickname is Biscuit, decided to change up the canning phrase in the midst of Deflategate without telling anyone.

It was only when a picture was posted on social media that the stunt drew nationwide attention.

“The reaction has been overwhelming. Obviously there are a lot of passionate views on both sides,” said Clay Robinson, owner of Sun King Brewing. “We’re in Colts country, so we’re getting a huge amount of support from here. We’re (also) getting a ton of hate and vitriol and spite.”

Sun King is now requiring all messages to be approved by management.

They also admit that they found the stunt humorous.
