Unforgettable day at Fenway for state’s Challenger League players

(WTNH)–Players from the southeastern part of the state had the chance to get on the field on Friday, as part of the CVS Health “All Kids Can” Batting Camp.

These children were from the District 10 Challenger League, all have some physical and mental limitations. No matter–they got a chance to take the field, take a couple of swings and meet some Red Sox players and coaches.

“I got to meet the hitting coach, I got to get autographs from the coaches, and it was a really fun experience,” Ethan Green of Waterford said.

“We’re doing some hitting practice, and we’re taking pictures over there,” said Yianni Logindis of East Lyme. “We’re having a fun time!”

“It’s really cool,” said another player.

We couldn’t say it any better than that. They do this every year up at Fenway Park.
