Caroline Wozniacki looking for fifth Connecticut Open title

(WTNH)–Connecticut’s pro tennis tournament is here, as they start qualifying for the Connectciut Open on Friday at the Connecticut Tennis Center.

Agnieska Radwanska, the 15th-ranked player in the world, and Alison Riske have been added to the field.

And someone else arrived on Thursday–four time champion Caroline Wozniacki showed up in style on a private jet into Tweed Airport in New Haven.

I guess when you’re the fifth-ranked player in the world, you can travel like that. Wozniacki says making the trip to New Haven is one of her favorite stops on the tour.

“I love being back here, after winning the tournament four times, it brings back good memories,” she said.

Wozniacki flew in from Cincinnati on Thursday. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
