(WTNH)–Two former UConn stars will be looking for new teams as the NFL preseason winds down. Indianapolis Colts guard Donald Thomas and Tennessee Titans wide receiver Tebucky Jones Jr. were released on Monday, a day before NFL teams have to trim rosters to 75 players.

Thomas, who signed a four-year, $14 million contract with Indianapolis in 2013, played just two games in two seasons, as injuries to his right quad and left biceps limited his playing time.

Jones, who spent two seasons with the Huskies before transferring to Fordham, signed with Tennessee as a free agent in July. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
