North Haven football stays perfect; Indians beat Branford

5-0 heading in to bye week

BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- The North Haven football team suffered little resistance late Saturday afternoon in a 49-7 win over SCC opponent Branford. The Indians scored on their first possession of the first quarter, when Nick Punzio broke a big TD run for 7-0 lead.

North Haven then turned an interception and a blocked punt into a pair of touchdwon runs from Mike Montano, putting the game out of reach early 21-0.
