All three have a common goal they want to achieve in their sport. “My end-point is for people to look back 50 years from now, and people to be like you know he was the Michael Jordan of MMA. He really evolved the sport,” said Halsey.
“When you turn the spotlight on, that’s when the MVP shows up, and I’m trying to get more people in MMA to understand that. This is a whole package. It’s our jobs to put on a show,” added Page.
“It’s entertainment, so yeah, you’re not gonna go out there any play pattycake with the guy, but you don’t go out there with a dreaded hatred for one another, it’s a sport and it’s entertainment,” said Ward.
The Bellator MMA series returns to Mohegan Sun in December.
