East Haven Girls Soccer beats Sheehan for 11th win of the season

Yellowjackets enjoying best season in program history

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- The high school soccer regular season is winding down. Monday night a great girls match-up in the Southern Ct Conference between a pair of 10 win teams, East Haven and Sheehan of Wallingford. The Yellowjackets are enjoying their best season in program history, the Titans are one of only two teams to beat the Easties this year.

East Haven has one of the state’s top players Megan Kikosicki, she’s 5th in the state in scoring and added to it against Sheehan, her goal in the 50th minute was the only score of the game and it lead the Yellowjackets to a 1-0 win. Keeper Caitlin Esposito had a shutout for East Haven who picked up its 11th win of the year.
