DeShawn Salter shines in return to Yale line-up; Bulldogs beat Brown

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Deshawn Salter ran for three touchdowns and Yale scored 24 points in the third quarter to pull away and beat Brown 41-14 on Saturday.
Salter, who returned to the Bulldogs line-up after missing time with a neck injury, had scoring runs of 1, 2 and 11 yards. Dale Harris ran for 71 yards with a touchdown, and Christopher Williams-Lopez had 13 catches for 154 yards for Yale (5-3, 2-3 Ivy League).
Marcus Fuller was 16-of-32 passing with a touchdown to lead Brown (4-4, 2-3).
Fuller threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Troy Doles, and Doles bullied in from the 2-yard line to tie it at 14. Bryan Holmes kicked a 27-yard field goal to end the first half and put the Bulldogs up 17-14.
In the third quarter, Holmes kicked a 20-yard field goal, Salter ran from the 1-yard line, and Harris from the 3-yard line for touchdowns. Spencer Rymiszewski had a 24-yard interception return for a touchdown to cap the scoring.
