7:33 p.m. And it’s halftime (mercifully) here in Southington. The Blue Knights lead Conard, 41-0.

7:27 p.m. Southington’s got it back at midfield now with just over 2 minutes left in the half. 2 runs for 40+ yards by Brian Montabault and the Knights bring it inside the 5. Jasen Rose finishes off the drive with a 2-yard run for the TD. Extra point is good, and it’s 41-0, Southington.

7:24 p.m. Another quick 3-and-out for Conard, and they’ll punt it back to Southington. 3:05 left in the first half. Knights lead, 34-0.

7:20 p.m. 1st and 10 now at the Conard 25. Jasen Rose completes a pass to wideout Austin Morin, and he takes it to the apartment. 22-yard touchdown. Southington has blown it open. They lead, 34-0.

7:18 p.m. It’s now 4th and 9, and the Knights go for it. Rose scrambles and gets the first down. Kid has rushing skillz.

7:16 Rose tries to scramble, but is sacked behind the line for a 4-yard loss. 3rd and 8 at Conard 35. 6:04 left in 1st half.

7:14 p.m. Defensive holding penalty on Conard sets Knights up at their own 48. 1st and 10, Southington leads 28-0.

7:11 p.m. Turnover on downs for Conard, despite a nice run to set them up inside the 30, and the Blue Knights take over.

7:06 p.m. Southington has it at the 48 yard line. QB Jasen Rose, who’s heading to UConn, completes a pass for a first down. 38-yard touchdown run follows, and it’s 28-0, Southington.

7:05 p.m. We’re back live, at the start of the second quarter. Southington leads Conard, 21-0.
