Seymour ends Granby’s unbeaten season with 34-6 win in Class S quarterfinals

(WTNH)–Granby’s first loss of the season came in the Class S quarterfinals on Tuesday night against Seymour, and unfortunately for the Bears, that means their season is over.

Seymour took a 24-6 lead when Granby’s defense bit on the sweep and Jaylen Kelley took it up the middle for a 25-yard touchdown. The Wildcats took a 24-6 lead.

Soon after, Seymour scores again. Bobby Melms goes to the outside, for a 10-yard otuchdown. That made the game 34-6.

A great season for Granby comes to an end. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
