BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- New Haven’s Jimmy Williams will step back in the ring this week. On Friday December 18th at Twin River Casino in Rhode Island, Williams will look to run his professional record to 10-0-1 with a win in his junior middleweight match-up.
Williams last fought in February of 2015, a knockout of Eddie Caminero. He suffered a thumb injury following the fight during a sparring session and has spent the last 10 months rehabbing and training to get back in the ring.
Williams has been doing his normal boxing work at Ring One in New Haven, he’s also continued crossfit training at Shoreline Crossfit in Branford. Williams says he missed being in the ring.
