Mic’d up: Inside the No. 4 Quinnipiac women’s hockey team

(WTNH)–The Quinnipiac women’s hockey team is enjoying one of its best starts in program history. At 16-1-3 through 20 games, the Bobcats have ascended to No. 4 in the national rankings for the fourth straight week.

They’re also No. 3 in the Pairwise rankings, which are used to seed teams and decide who gets in come NCAA Tournament time. Quinnipiac extended its program record winning streak to 10 games with a pair of wins this weekend against Yale and Brown while also extending their unbeaten streak to 13 games, three shy of tying the program record of 16 set during the 2014-15 season. The Bobcats blanked Yale, 1-0, before coming back to defeat Brown, 5-1.
