Great lineup of games highlight Martin Luther King Day tournament

(WTNH)–On Monday, some local high school basketball teams will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King with a tournament at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport.

What a lineup of games on the schedule. It starts at 11 a.m., and there are five games scheduled, with the last one set to start at 7 p.m.

On Thursday morning, all of the teams gathered and heard from guest speaker Scott Burrell, the former UConn standout, NBA champ and current head coach at Southern.

Teams from Milford, Brookfield, and Madison join the schools from New Haven and Bridgeport, which have a long history.
