Class LL Girls’ Basketball Tournament Bracket Released

The dynastic Mercy High School girls won the SCC championship in 2015.

(WTNH)–Can’t you just hear the music now? It’s almost March Madness (the best time of the year), and outside of the NCAA Tournament, we’ve got some pretty great high school basketball tournaments ready to start as well.

On Wednesday, the CIAC released the Class LL girls’ basketball tournament bracket.

First-round games take place on February 27, at the sites of higher seeds.

The second round is scheduled for March 3, at the higher seeded team’s gym. Those games will also start at 7 p.m. Higher seeds will host the quarterfinals on March 7, while semifinal sites have still yet to be announced.

The championship round will once again be played at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, on either March 19 or 20.
