James Jones’ father proud of his son’s accomplishments at Yale

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WTNH)–Last week on SportzEdge, we ran a feature on Yale basketball head coach James Jones, who waited a long time to get to the NCAA Tournament, but when he got there, sure didn’t go down quietly.

James, along with brother Joe, who coaches at Boston University, was raised by father Herman, who worked in the dry cleaning business. If the younger Joneses wanted to spend more time with their father, that meant they often had to go visit him at work.

James knew right away that dry cleaning would not be the career of his choice. So what does his father think of all of his success at Yale?
