No good deed goes undone, Shelton rallies to beat Branford

BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) A good deed off the field by Shelton center fielder Chris Kanios was repaid on the field, when the senior doubled to start the 6th, sparking a comeback win over Branford. Pitcher Craig McNamara followed with an RBI single tying the 1. A two run single in the 7th by David Wells proved to be the game winning hit for the Gaels, who added one more run to beat the Hornets, 4-1.
McNamara went the distance to pick up the win.
The Gaels comeback spoiled a 3 hit day for Hornets catcher Mike Gogliettino provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
