(WTNH)–Josh Zeid introduced himself to local baseball fans back in 2005, when he was a dominant pitcher at Hamden Hall. A lot has happened since then, including stops at Vanderbilt and Tulane, in the major leagues with the Houston Astros.
But now, Zeid is back in his home state, pitching for the New Britain Bees.
“It’s awesome, it was fun pitching here in high school, and being back here playing for the New Britain Bees, I get to pitch in front of my parents, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles,” Zeid said. “Whether this is the beginning of something special, or the end of a really long career, I’m just happy to be home.”
