(WTNH)–UConn linebacker Graham Stewart has signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent, according to a source.

The 6-1, 237-pound linebacker from Durham was originally set to sign with the Minnesota Vikings, but decided to sign with New York instead. The Giants also signed UConn safeties Andrew Adams and Junior Lee, and defensive tackle Kenton Adeyemi as undrafted free agents.

Stewart was a co-captain with the Huskies last season, making 68 tackles. He made 27 starts in 33 career games with UConn.

The Xavier High (Middletown) standout became a leader and fan favorite with UConn after transferring from the University of Florida in 2012.
