Talkin’ North Haven football with head coach Tony Sagnella, captain Kyle Melillo

(WTNH)–Every year during spring practice, the North Haven football team does something to help others. Whether it’s picking up a local youth who’s striken with an unfortunate illness, or like this year, in trying to raise money for an elementary school that needs new playground equipment.

It’s part of what makes football at North Haven special.

We sat down with head coach Tony Sagnella, and one of the team’s captains, Kyle Melillo, who’s still trying to lead North Haven lacrosse to a state title, to talk about the Indians’ terrific season last year, what they’ve got to look forward to this year, and much more.
