Fitch completes perfect 27-0 season, blanks Masuk, 2-0, for Class L title

(WTNH)–Last year at this time, the Fitch High School softball team was saying ‘maybe next year,’ after losing to East Haven in the Class L final.

26 straight wins later, the Falcons were back in the title game. Things turned out a little different this time.

Arielle Cooper’s ladies were looking to complete a perfect season Friday night against Masuk in this year’s title game.

Caroline Taber was brilliant–the Gatorade Player of the Year went the distance. She was unhittable all year long.

The Falcons win the Class L title.
