Adaptive golfers with disabilities take part in Gaylord Hospital Open

(WTNH)–Monday was a great day to get out and enjoy a little golf. About two dozen golfers took part in the GHO on Monday at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford.

And when we say GHO, we mean the Gaylord Hospital Open.

Adaptive golfers with disabilities ranging from strokes to amputations all played. Golfers with different skill sets played the nine-hole course where handicaps were not an issue. The Gaylord Hospital Sports Association, whose events include sled hockey and archery are outstanding, and which we’ve covered in the past.
