Bristol Blues giving college, high school baseball stars opportunity to showcase their game

(WTNH)–We have high school baseball, minor league baseball and independent baseball in our state. We also have a pair of Future’s League teams, in Torrington and in Bristol.

College kids are home for the summer, looking to work on their game.

The Bristol Blues hosted the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks at Muzzy Field on Wednesday night. We’ve got highlights of that, plus we caught up with former Amity star and University of Hartford pitcher Sebastian DiMauro, and East Catholic star Jimmy Titus, who’s lighting it up for the Blues now.

“You build great friendships that last all through college and even after. I’ve only been here a week or two and these guys already feel like family,” said DiMauro.

“It’s really a good group of guys and a lot of senior leadership. We’ve got some older guys, I’m probably the youngest guys on the team so it’s nice to learn from guys who have been playing college baseball the last couple years,” Titus said.
