Former UConn foe Courtney Williams now starring for Connecticut Sun

(WTNH)–Geno Auriemma was impressed with her in college. The legend said she was the most difficult player in the league for his team to guard the last couple of years.

Courtney Williams is now a pro, and the newest member of the Connecticut Sun. The rookie out of South Florida has played in just four games for Curt Miller’s team so far, but she already looks like she’s been with the Sun all season.

Williams came to Connecticut in a trade with Phoenix for Kelsey Bone. In college, she played some great games at Mohegan Sun Arena, during the American Athletic Conference tournament.
