‘Peace Run’ passes through Connecticut

(WTNH)–Their mission is to promote peace. They do it by running. And they’ve been running since April, up and down, across America, into Mexico, up and across Canada.

On Saturday, they finish where they started, in New York City. But today, the Sri Chinmoy Oneness Home Peace Run passed through Connecticut, stopping in Branford to be fed by the folks at Marco’s Pizza.

Eleven runners from 10 different countries are running the anchor leg. One runner from Australia has been part of the entire journey, which is over 10,000 miles.
