(WTNH)–UConn has added another player to its 2017 men’s basketball recruiting class.

Six-foot-nine, 235-pound power forward Josh Carlton has committed to Connecticut, according to Scout.com. Carlton chose the Huskies over Xavier, Clemson, Memphis and Georgetown.

He’s rated as a three-star prospect by Scout, and said that he made his decision after his official visit on August 27. He canceled trips to Clemoson and Memphis, according to Scout.

“The visit was great,” Carlton told Scout. “I liked the coaching staff and got a chance to spend time with them. It just felt foog to be there, and it was a place that felt like home.”
