Old Lyme’s Ben Wolfe returns from broken pelvis to race in New Haven Grand Prix

(WTNH)–The streets of New Haven will be electric on Friday night, as the New Haven Grand Prix returns to race through the downtown area.

The event was a big success last year, and cyclists are looking forward to another year of twilight racing in the Elm City.

In the pro category, Old Lyme’s Ben Wolfe is a guy to keep an eye on. He’s raced all over the world. The 23-year-old is coming off of a broken pelvis–the second of his career.

In June, he fractured his pelvis in three places during a race in Minnesota. He told his doctor he’d be back on his bike within a month.
