Mic’d Up: Cheshire football coach Don Drust has program back where it belongs

(WTNH)–Despite a tough loss Friday night in West Haven (the Rams lost to the Westies 41-14), the Cheshire High School football team is definitely heading in the right direction. Head coach Don Drust is now in his fifth year at the school, and he knows a little something about winning with the Rams.

Drust helped his team win a state championship as a player back in the day.

With a 3-0 start this year, Drust says he’s got the program back where it belongs.
