(WTNH)–It’d probably be juuuuuust a bit outside.
But it would be fitting for Cleveland Indians and movie fans alike.
Fans on social media are calling for “Major League” star Charlie Sheen to throw out the first pitch at Game 1 of the World Series in Cleveland. The series, which starts on Tuesday, is back in Cleveland for the first time since 1997.
Sheen played relief pitcher Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn in the 1989 movie, which chronicled a fictional Indians squad’s improbable run to the pennant.

That is brilliant. Have Charlie Sheen dress in uniform, come out of the bullpen with the music, and throw out the first pitch #WildThing

On Thursday, Sheen responded to the fanfare with a tweet of his own:
continues to be the gift
that keeps on giving!
if called upon,
I’d be honored. pic.twitter.com/ijjAU0Qvbw

So I guess there’s only one thing left for the Indians to do.
Win the whole frickin’ thing.
