Filmmaker turning West Haven MMA fighter Nick Newell’s life into a movie

(WTNH)–His life has been like a movie.

Born with one hand, rising in the ranks, and becoming an MMA champion, then abruptly retiring and opening a gym to train fighters trying to make their way to the top.

Nick Newell’s life has been a terrific screenplay. And now, it’s coming to the big screen.
