(WTNH)–In honor of the great Ray Allen’s official retirement on Tuesday, we decided it was time to throw it back to 2008, when he first took the floor for the Boston Celtics.

This piece by News 8’s John Pierson takes a look at his legendary work ethic, which made him one of the greatest shooters of all-time, and flashes back to his days at UConn.

“The work, I think is what I look forward to the most because what you put into it, you get out of it,” Allen said then.
