Rebecca Lobo inducted into Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame

(WTNH)–Seems like just a few years ago, Rebecca Lobo was sprinting around the arena in Minneapolis, hands in the air as UConn women’s basketball won its first national title.

21 years later, one successful venture after another, Lobo landed in the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame. Tonight, Lobo was one of three women enshrined.

After winning that national championship with the Huskies, Lobo was a WNBA trailblazer. She won an Olympic Gold Medal and eventually transitioned into a fantastic TV analyst. Lobo credits her mom for setting the example of a strong woman.
