Former UConn star Jordan Todman wins AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

(WTNH)– Former UConn star and current Indianapolis Colts running back Jordan Todman has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after a huge performance against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Todman had a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and another crucial 61-yard return that helped the Colts defeat the Packers 31-26. Todman finished with a return average of 80 yards.

The fourth-year pro was selected in the sixth round of 2011 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and now has over 2,000 return yards and six touchdowns in his NFL career. As a Husky, Todman ran for over 3,000 yards and 31 touchdowns and was named a first-team All-American.
