UConn hockey off to promising start this season

(WTNH)–The UConn hockey team is playing an exciting brand of hockey to start off the season. Mike Cavanaugh’s Huskies have just two losses (3-2-4) through their first nine games.

This weekend, UConn plays at 14th-ranked Ohio State. One of Connecticut’s big wins this season came at No. 9 Notre Dame.

Four of UConn’s games have ended in a tie this year. The team’s leading scorer–Orange’s Tage Thompson–likes the early signs his team is showing.
