(WTNH)–In football, the guys up front tend to get forgotten about.

Not at Foran High School in Milford, where SportzEdge will be headed for the Game of the Week on Friday.

Coach Jeff Bevino credited the offensive line and defensive line for keeping the team afloat when it got hit with some injuries.

After a long week of practice, there’s nothing better than getting after it against the opposing team.

“Defense is a blast because you get to hit someone in a different color jersey. You’re out here hitting these guys everyday, but it’s something different to be out there running around on Friday night, making plays on someone else,” said Colby Stuart, a senior defensive and offensive lineman.

“Everyday we’re grinding in our little corner over there,” said a defensive lineman. “We’ve got Lance behind us, we know that he’s going to perform if we block for him, we block for our backs there’s nothing to worry about. It’s a tough life but everyday we come we get better as a team, we’re very well coached and everyday we just try to improve.”
